Just got an update from Scott...
We're finalizing
our Vol. 1 discography, which will include all the splits, EPs,
and bonus tracks we did prior to signing to relapse. As a bonus,
the first (undetermined) number of copies of this discography
will include a 3" cd mockup of the first 30 song 7"
(which will itself have bonus songs). After these are gone, the
3" will be gone for good. This will be released by relapse
early 2005.
The PCP torpedo reissue on hydrahead is finally mastered and will
be in Aaron's hands very soon. Look for that to be relelased
early/mid 2005. It has a bonus cd of ANb remixes by such folks as
Justin Broderick, James Plotkin, Vidna Obmana, /dev/null, etc. .
.
We'll have a webstore with cool shirts and shit up and running
pretty soon.
and, last but not least. . . .a NEW full length by the end of
2005! will there be an accompanying tour? who the fuck knows?

Big update to the Discography section, added a few compilations in there and lots of colour vinyl pics (for the nerds). Also added some more MP3's, many from the 7"s (be sure to check out the Gob one too)
I saw Pig Destroyer last friday in London, where J.R. injured his back causing him to miss the last Grind Over the UK 4 date and a visit to the hospital. Get well soon J.R.!

Reduction remix / remaster CD and Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope
picture disc (limited to 1000 copies) are out now!
ANb are planning to release a 3" cd of all of the covers the
band has done. This will include unreleased and rare tracks and
some new ones finished during the summer.
The "Chick Track" picture disc 7" has been
recorded and the packaging is complete. No release date is
set, but it's only a matter of time now. Keep an eye on this and
the Reptilian sites.
The Dataclast split has been cancelled, their material will be
going on a split with Found Dead Hanging on Black Market Records.
The Orthrelm split has been cancelled also.

Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope is finally being released on vinyl! Relapse will be releasing it as a picture disc on the 8th of August. Relapse are now taking preorders
The PCP Torpedo remixes have been finished, the upcoming rerelease on Hydrahead will be on two discs, the first being the PCP Torpedo EP, and the second being the remixes
The ANb / Isis split and ANb / Jesu split releases have been cancelled
Honkey Reduction has had remixed and remastered sound for the upcoming rerelease, no date yet though
The 2cd discography is still in the works, sit tight
The next time the members of ANb get together it will be to record their next full length!

Coming in the spring! ANb / Isis split release to benifit mutual friend Shaun Luu, who has been diagnosed with brain cancer. This release is set to feature a collection of covers that ANb have done over the years, some being unreleased. The Isis side will have two live tracks from the last european tour and a remix. Expect a release around april on Relapse. Best of luck to Shaun Luu on the road to recovery.
Still to come is the "Chick Tract" Picture Disc 7" on Reptilian and a split with Orthrelm on Relapse.
Site news: The counter got reset, oh well. The reviews section will be getting a much needed overhaul soon. ASOA MP3's up anyday now, as will be more wallpapers and some new compilation entries in the discography section. Stay tuned. ANb play their first live set!!!
This years New Jersey Metal and Hardcore Festival saw Pig Destroyer cut their set short so ANb to take the stage for their first ever live performance. The set list was the Frozen Corpse intro going into "Bitch's Handbag Full of Money" and then "10,000 Leeches". Theres a few photo's at www.returntothepit.com in the Pig Destroyer photo section, theres also a photo here (credit goes to Kevin Stewart Panko). If anyone has anymore photo's sound or video please get in contact!
DJ Speedranch has completed his ANb remix of Thanksgiving Day from the PCP Torpedo 6". You can hear it live by downloading the set from his recent UK Tour with Isis at www.sp-jn.co.uk, no news yet on a release.
Altered States of America is out on vinyl! Relapse has it for $12 each, the colours are black, green and white, not sure on numbers just yet.
Theres been a some site updates, Rich's Related page has that second MP3 up now, the FAQ has its first questions answered, the first ANb cover song (that I know of) is up on the MP3 page and comes from Skrupel, info on the Drum Machine Madness comp is in the discography and some more wallpapers will follow. Updates will be more regular now also. Hopefully soon the cover of Slayer's "Antichrist" will be available for download, aswell as ASOA MP3's. Theres still no word from Guiness Book of Records

Agoraphobic Nosebleed on Spreading The Disease... Cult US grindcore outfit Agoraphobic Nosebleed have issued (April 1 - what else?!) a landmark, limited edition 3" CD entitled 'Altered States of America'. Comprised of 100 tracks in total across just under 19 minutes, 'Altered States of America' marks a return to the prolific 'machine gun grind' that characterised earlier incarnations of Agoraphobic Nosebleed. We caught up with members Schultz and Hull to find out exactly how they've managed to go from effectively three years of inactivity to 140 songs in under six months?
"We had a lot of ideas leftover after completing 'Frozen Corpse Stuffed with Dope', and had a lot of new ideas jump into our heads in the months since the record's release." explains Schultz. "In a lot of ways 'Altered States...' is like 'Frozen Corpse II' as a lot of the lyrical ideas tie in as well. We wanted to get everything out and onto hard disc before out minds collapsed." he continues Agoraphobic Nosebleed are known for their attempts to push back sonic boundaries, using whatever means at their disposal, but even by their own ludicrous standards, a 100 song 3" CD is an audacious release. Schultz happily clears up the motivations of the foursome.
"We gotta kick complaceny in the ass and give grindcore fans something that would lodge itself in their brain and burn itself into their retinas. A 100 song 3" CD with a 16 page pastel booklet smothered in arcane writings seemed like the perfect way to make a bull's eye of the mind!"
Its apparent that the foursome (completed by Messrs Randall and Johnson) have no plans to slow down, both in terms of velocity and activity. "What dosn't the future hold for ANb?" questions Hull. "We have some other releases that were already in the works and that are coming out. We are thinking into 2005 allready, although I believe civilisation will most likely crumble before then."
"We have had plenty of time to charge out batteries over the last few years - now its time to show what we can do and deliver the full-on grindcore gane-bang" concludes Schultz.

ANb set to be record breakers!!!???
Following in the footsteps of Napalm Death and Brutal Truth, ANb could very well be record breakers. According to UK's Kerrang! magazine the Guiness Book of Records are considering entering Altered States of America in for the 'CD featuring the most tracks' record. I've emailed the Guiness Book of Records so hopefully they'll answer soon, when its official you'll hear it here first.

Look for an ANb picture disc 7" coming soon on Reptilian Records. The 7" will come with a parody of the widely-distributed "Chick Tract" booklets.
Other planned releases include a split 3"CD / 7" with Dataclast, a reissue of Honky Reduction entirely remixed and remastered, PCP Torpedo pressed onto CD with bonus remixes to be released on Hydrahead, and a 2 CD discography of all the ANb vinyl (have patience for this one)
